Red Bud
(Cercis canadensis) Small tree to 10 m. Palmately veined leaves, 5-10 cm long, 6-15 cm wide with heart shaped bases and long petioles. Pink flowers borne in clusters of 2-6 on old wood, appear before leaves.
Blooms in March.
